Squatina Hand held Saw - low vibration
The new Squatina 400 hand held saw is an 8Kw, water-cooled, high frequency machine, with a blade capacity of 400mm. It also utilises a soft start system and weighs only 4.5Kg. This makes the saw easy to use and reduces operator fatigue. Due to the stringent Health and Safety rules imposed on construction site machinery, the saw has been designed to have a vibration rating of <2.5m/s, therefore complying with the latest regulations.

SWS-83 WIRE SAW
The SWS-83 wire saw is the result of many years experience in wire sawing reinforced concrete. This "storage wire saw" is designed for the construction industry and is ideal for concrete cuts up to 3 m².
The saw has a maximum storage capacity of 8,3 m inside the machine. The user gets 6,3 m of wire out of the concrete without shortening the wire. The wire tension is continuously constant due to a pneumatic cylinder. The wire engine is a hydraulic motor that needs a power pack with 32 to 40 litres per minute, a minimum oil pressure of 140 bar and not less than 11,5 kW.With only two anchors in the wall, floor or ceiling, the SWS-83 is very quickly ready for use. The diagonal support allows the machine work without vibration. This 86 kg saw can be divided into three manageable parts (max. 32 kg) within only a few minutes.
The new wire hand crank at the drive wheel is a timesaving device to aid the starting of the cut, allowing the corners to be rounded off. There is optimal water cooling on both outgoing wheels. It is possible to use an endless wire due to the 360° swivel wheels. Should the swivel wheels need to be turned by 180° on the SWS-83, at that point of the cut they can be moved to the right or left so that the wire is still controlled by the wheel.

The COBRA and VECTOR electric
wall saws
have been designed and developed in Switzerland, and focus on giving the user increased
flexibility, and a strong and reliable machine. They were the first to utilise direct
drive electric motors and have a proven track record right across Europe. Both saws are a
one man operation and require minimal setup to achieve a high cutting performance. The
fully automatic operation and new harness remote control, make the saws easy to use
resulting in increased precision and production.
The lightweight COBRA, is a 10KW wall saw and will take a maximum blade diameter of 800mm to achieve a cutting depth of 340mm. It has been designed to be compact and very versatile. The larger VECTOR 20KW saw, has a three speed gear box and can take blades up to 1600mm in diameter, giving a cutting depth of 720mm.

To coincide with the launch of our new wall saws, we are
also promoting our new range of VERTEX wall saw blades. Manufactured in Europe, they
conform to all OSA and EN13236 safety regulations. Our three varying blade geometries are
available in sizes 600mm to 1600mm and have been tested in different concrete aggregates
right across Scotland, England and Ireland.
The Vertex PIII is suitable for use on wall saws up to 30KW in power, and can be used to cut flint, granite and river gravel aggregate concrete. The blade incorporates the use of a strong bond system to ensure diamond retention.
The Vertex 27V can be used on machines up to 27KW and will cut limestone, granite and river gravel aggregates.
The Vertex TC is for use on saws up to 22KW and is available in two different bond systems and is designed for very fast cutting. All blades have been developed to provide long life and feature a 12mm segment height for higher stock removal, to give maximum performance.
